Maker's Mark - 45%
From Loretto, Kentucky, Maker's Mark is a small batch bourbon whisky which is sold in distinctive bottles which are sealed with red wax. Maker's Mark began production in 1954.
Maker's Mark is aged between five and seven years, then tested by company tasters to see if the whisky is ready and up to the high standard. Once the whisky is ready it is bottled and sealed with its signature dripping red wax. This distillery is one of few that conduct barrel rotation from the upper to lower levels during the aging process. This allows consistent quality as the distillery believes this evens out the temperature variations between each floor.
