Yoichi - 42%
A singe malt whisky named after the Yoichi Distillery, which was the first distillery at the Nikka Whisky Distilling Company. This distillery was set up to match aspects of Scotland such as the landscape and climate. A location ideal for the production of whisky. There is an underground water source which filters through peat. This whisky has a salty tang to it and apparently this is owed to the fact that the distillery is situated just one mile from the sea. This is very similar to Scottish whiskies which are located along the coast.
