This single malt packs a fruity punch, with flavours of pineapple and lemon. The freshness is balanced with vanilla and honesuckle leading to a finish of very mild spice andtoffee.
NOSE - Creamy vanilla, fudge, toffee, aniseed and oak
TASTE - Aniseed, dried peels, buttery note with fudge

From medieval times right through to the passing of the Excise Act in 1823, illicit distilleries were common ground in Scotland. The excise Act in 1823, meant that distilleries had to apply for a license to make whisky. George Smith, whom operated an illicit distillery successfully applied for a license and then opened the Glenlivet Distillery.
